So...We have been a little busy around here and there hasn't been much time for blogging. A few highlights since my last post: I have started a new business, some of our best friends moved from Columbus to Macon, we have successfully finished swim lessons with Mrs. Julie, we have finished a great year at Wynnton school and had a wonderful relaxing Easter weekend celebrating our Risen Savior. We are as busy as ever right now but loving all of the excitement parenting a 2 year old! We are blessed and doing our best to rest in the Lord. Here are some images/videos from the past couple of months :) Our niece, Marianna, is currently at Camp Skyline! I enjoyed taking her up there and helping her settle in. I went to Skyline for 10 summers so it has been fun sharing stories with her and I'm excited to hear stories of her own. It looks like she's having a blast! It's been a while since I have blogged and I have missed it...With all of the hoopla over the holidays it was hard to find time to blog! We had a very BUSY but wonderful holiday season. We are so blessed with the many gifts God has given us, and the Christmas season is always a wonderful time to reflect on these wonderful blessings; Family, Friends, but most of all the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ! "Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever."- Psalm 107:! Swift ChristmasChristmas MorningBut when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. Steeplechase at Callaway Gardens never fails to be one of the most fun weekends every fall! A full Saturday of catching up with friends, making new ones, and of course... betting on your favorite horse! This year was slightly different! It was Andie's first Steeplechase, and with her running around EVERYwhere, Luke and I were busy protecting her from flying footballs and large racehorses. She was quick to discover how to climb through the fence to get up close and personal to the action. Needless to say, another great experience at Steeplechase! We look forward to many more! In awe... this was before she made the decision to climb through the fence to go visit with the horses. Aunt Cile and Marianna (nana) me and nana :) Pony Rides! 'don't let go daddy!' She wanted to play football with these boys. We thought it was cute until shortly after this picture was taken an inaccurate pass came inches away from her face! 'i'm pullin for you, number 2... because i like your pink socks :)' The day was topped off by having our special friend Bennett play at our house for awhile. Daddy is already not liking the way she looks at him!

It seems that I am a little busy these days which means the blog gets put on the backburner but I did want to share some pics of our latest trip to Jackson. Andie experienced riding her first horse, which she didn't enjoy too much, BUT she did LOVE walking around in her boots, playing on the john deere tractor, playing with her cousins, and looking at the birds during the dove hunt...She is a true daddy's girl...We love getting to travel back to Mississippi and going to the Addison Family Farm! What fun it will be for her to grow up going there! Looking forward to the Addison's building their home! Not so sure what to think of the horse...I think I would rather ride on the John Deere! or play with my cousins... or daddy's shotgun shells :) or daddy's hat... Another fun Labor Day in Jackson!
These are a little late but I wanted to share pictures from our daughters first birthday. We had the pleasure having our good friend and very talented photographer, Zach Smith, to her first birthday to snap a few shots. We had an "A" themed party with all of Andies favorites things that start with the letter A. A is for Animals. A is for Apple Sauce (this was the party gift for all the babies), A is for Aquatics, A is for Amigos and Amigas. We had a great time with friends and family! Andie had 12 of her closest buddies at her party. We are so thankful for great friends who are in the same stage of life as us! We are so blessed. After a long night of great fun, trying her first sweet, and spending time with friends and family Andie was worn out! It was a great first birthday celebration!
